Hi everyone, I’m the developer of StreamX.
If you’re looking for another IPTV player for your Apple TV, StreamX is now available on the App Store.
You can browse live TV, check the programme guide and find your movies and series with the Apple TV remote. The aim is to make finding and watching something straightforward from the sofa.
A quick bit of background: StreamX isn’t a vibe-coded app. It’s built natively for Apple platforms, and I’ve been working on it for about a year.
Here’s a little of what’s available:
• M3U, M3U8 and Xtream Codes support.
• A programme guide for browsing live TV schedules.
• Search across your added playlists.
• Favourites and playlist organisation.
• Continue Watching for movies and series.
• Separate household profiles.
• AngelVPN integration, letting you connect inside StreamX using your AngelVPN account.
StreamX is also available on iPhone and iPad, with syncing across supported Apple devices. If you have an Apple silicon Mac, you can install the iPad version there too.
Emby, Plex and Jellyfin support is coming soon, bringing your personal media libraries into StreamX as well.
It’s free to download, with optional Pro subscriptions. The Apple TV version requires tvOS 18 or later.
